London is the hub of breathtaking musical productions, it leads the path for talent and spectacular acting. The plays and west end musicals that are put on are both innovative and wonderful. The newest big hollywood actor to show up in the west end is James McAvoy, greater known from films such as Atonement. McAvoy is presently staring in Three Days of Rain, Three Days of Rain is a rich drama based in the city of New York about an inheritance. The fantastic production looks at the family dynamics, love and of course money. Also appearing in the production is furthermore Nigel Harman who some can remember from the BBC 1 programme Eastenders.

This year can see brand new plays coming to the theatres of the west end of London and one of the most anticipated is the musical Sister Act. Sister Act the Musical is based on the story of a criminals girlfriend who walks in on a deadly crime and goes on a police protection programme as a lady of the cloth. The gangsters girlfriend lives and works as a religious nun and turns the other nuns of the church into an exciting singing group. Another breathtaking hit play this month is the funny Calendar Girls, the funny tale of a group of middle aged women in their later years who decide to pose in the buff for a local calendar to generate money for their local charity. Calendar Girls is based upon the film production by Tim Firth and is of course going to please all audiences.

With the immense interest in plays and west end musicals that include renowned actors, most theatre goers find it difficult to splash out on the complete ticket charge.
